Review 3: 2 day Mekong delta trip !
There are a lot of cycle trips in the Mekong but non match the quality of these guys. Ut is born in the Mekong, knows all the back ways and is the perfect guide. He cycles 200 days a year!! The bikes are top quality. Yes they are not the cheapest but if you want the full experience, Vietnam by Bike are your guys. Book in advance.
Review 2: Perfect way to experience true Vietnamese culture!
We completed a 7 day bike tour with tour guide Ut & driver Nhan from Hoi to Ho Chi Minh city.The tour was very well organized and our guide Ut was amazing. His knowledge of Vietnamese culture and geographical locations is second to none. His sense of humor and flexibility with regards to cycling distance was greatly appreciated (we are beginner cyclists).
Our driver Nhan always greeted us with a smile and despite some of the crazy traffic conditions in Vietnam we never once felt unsafe. A real testament to his driving ability!
Highlights for us included the cooking class in Hoi An, cycling around beautiful lakes, stopping at a local schools to say hi to the school kids, cycling through the beautiful mountains of Vietnam, visiting local craft shops.
Overall we had a great experience and are very greatful to Ut & Nhan for their organisation of the trip. We suggest this tour to anyone looking for a unique way to explore Vietnam. We certainly would not have seen anywhere near what we saw had it not been for this tour!
Review 1: Amazing Mekong Delta Experience !
Vietnam By Bike came to our attention when we were looking for a cycling tour online. We found out right away that Vietnam By Bike would be our great choice after seeing their clip and description about the day trip to Cai Be and Vinh Long. We then emailed them to ask for a quote. Almost immediately, we received their detailed reply. Their price was quite reasonable beyond our expection, for what we were offered on tour. It was really good value for money. Our first impression continued when we met with the biking team at our hotel in Ho Chi Minh city. Our guide, Mr. Ut, was marvelous. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had an indepth look into the Mekong Delta daily life and culture. We didn't even expect to have very comfortable Cannondale bikes. We strongly believed those bikes were well maintained frequently. The single tracks were fantastic and the people we met made us feel welcome. We made a stop at a home and the hospitable owner was so nice to pick longans in their garden to share with us. They even gave us a big bag with more longan to take along when we bid farewell to them. We had a surprising lunch inside a lovely homestay restaurant by the river where they served us with the best fresh rolls with elephant ear fish. We couldn't really make this wonderful adventure without Ut and Vietnam By Bike. It was truly a brilliant trip highly recommended to everyone.
